협회 소개

사단법인 한국현대도예가회

사단법인 한국현대도예가회는 1978년 10월 도예가 황종구, 원대정, 황종례, 권순형, 강수화, 정담순, 임무근, 조정현, 이부웅 등 9분의 한국 도예가회 창립을 위한 모입을 계기로하여 지금까지 35년간 우리나라 도예계의 발전을 위해 많은 활동을 해오고 있습니다.

초대회장에 故황종구 선생님을 모시고 1979년 5월 15일 신세계 미술관에서 한국도예가회 창립전을 가졌으며 1983년 기존의 한국도예가회라는 본회명칭을 한국현대도예가회로 개칭하였습니다.
이후, 2007년 사단법인으로 전환한 후, 현재 만 32세 이상 회원 290여명이 우리나라 현대도예의 진취적 발전을 위해 부단한 노력을 하고 있으며, 1979년 본 회 창립이후 지금까지 19회의 정기회원전과 13회의 특별전, 18회의 세미나 등을 개최하는 등 한국 현대도예의 대표적 그룹으로 자리매김 하였습니다.

Korean Contemporary Ceramic Artists Association

Korean Contemporary Ceramic Artists Association, which is an incorporated association, has been doing many activies for development of Korea Ceramic Art, for 35 years unitl now, starting from a meeting of 9 sceramic artists Hwang Jong-Ku, Won Dae-Jung, Hwang Jong-Re, Kwon Soon-Hyung, Kang Soo-Hwa, Jung Dam-Soon, Lim Moo-Keun, Cho Jung-Hyun, Lee Boo-Woong for foundation of Korea Ceramic Artists Association on October, 1978.

With the first president of the association being Hwang Jong-Ku who has passed away, we held the exhibition to conguratulate the foundation of our association at shinsegae Gallery on May 15th, 1979. and changed the name to Korean Contemporaty Ceramic Artists Assoication from the prior name, Korean Ceramic Artists Associaton, 1983.
After that, we converted into an incorporated associaton in 2007. and at the moment about 290 members over the age of 32 are doing their best for the progressive advancement of Korean Contemporary Creamic Art. and we have made oursleves as the representative group of Korean Contemporary Ceramic Art while holding 19 times of regular exhibitions, 13 times of special exhibitions, and 18 times of seminars after foundation in 1979.
